The Prince Formerly Known As An Artist: november 2011

The Prince Formerly Known as an Artist is an ultra nationalistic concept from the Swedish singer/songwriter Andreas Magnusson. The attempt is to release great music and to destroy nationalism by making everyone a part of everything. The good old troyan style.

Starting december 6 on Finlands national day The Prince Formerly Known as an Artist will release a free song. All releases will be made on national days.

The songs themselves do not neccecarely capture the spirit of the country. For instance the finnish release might very well be a happy pop song and the Namibia release might be totally free from rhythm.

All songs will also be interpreted into paintings made by the austrian artist Albert Ecker.

Andreas Magnusson is also a member of the indie band Pinto who used to be a solo project until Magnussons identity got mixed up in a band.
